The new 3rd generation of the popular YONEX ASTROX 88 S and YONEX ASTROX 88 D series was launched at the end of March 2024. The fact that this unique pair of rackets now also has its own colour-coordinated bag series from YONEX speaks for a success story and a perfect marketing strategy. We at the BADLAB racket team naturally wanted to find out whether this is really the case and to what extent the new material changes have contributed to the improvement. As always, we decided to carry out a long-term practical test with the new YONEX ASTROX 88 PRO variants.

This time, the BADLAB "racket team" tested the new high-end racket: YONEX NANOFLARE 800 PRO - before the worldwide sales launch on 17.12.2023. As with all rackets in the NANOFLARE series, the manufacturer's promise is: "Rapid Fire".
Having already tested the YONEX NANOFLARE 700, 800 and 1000 Z, we were very curious to find out exactly which type of player the new YONEX NANOFLARE 800 PRO is aimed at. We took a very close look over several weeks as part of our long-term test.

Just in time for the YONEX GERMAN OPEN 2023, the newest member of the ASTROX family was introduced: YONEX ASTROX NEXTAGE. We from the BADLAB racket team were able to secure a few rackets right away in order to determine in the usual practice test which player profile the new ASTROX NEXTAGE is aimed at. We are curious to see what the "next" in the ASTROX series has to offer.

Another "lightweight" from the Victor Thruster racket series has been put to the test. With a net weight of only 70 g, the Victor Thruster K 70 has rightly earned the title "Super Light". The VICTOR THRUSTER K70 SUPER LIGHT, which is considered an insider's tip, is delivered in two different and very appealing colour variations, which are, however, identical in terms of construction. We from the BADLAB "racket team" are curious to see whether this "feather" has more to offer than just looks and have, as usual, subjected the VICTOR THRUSTER K70 SUPER LIGHT to a long-term test full of expectations.

For years, bestsellers with the proven Brave Sword technology have been coming onto the market from VICTOR. Of course, we from the BADLAB "test team" wanted to know exactly what this is all about, so we decided on the new update of the VICTOR Brave Sword 1800 D and put it through its paces as usual. We are curious to see what the "brave sword" with the noble look in the basic colours wine red/silver has to offer.

In August 2022, the new YONEX ARCSABER 7 PRO was introduced to the market. The BADLAB racket team could hardly wait and immediately took a close look at what this new 7 upgrade has to offer in the practical test during the usual long-term test. Of course, we are also concerned with the question of whether it stands in the shadow of the legendary YONEX ARCSABER 11 PRO or what exactly the qualities of the new ARCSABER 7 PRO are. We find out.

For ever young? Since 2013, the YONEX ARCSABER 11 has consistently enjoyed great popularity among competitive players all the way up to the top of the world. Players like Viktor Axelsen, Taufik Hidayat, Mathias Boe and Marc Zwiebler, Germany's most successful player of all time, have relied on the ARCSABER 11.

At the beginning of 2021, YONEX introduced a revised ASTROX 88 S - in the 3 versions TEAM, TOUR and PRO. We have chosen the PRO version and put it through its paces, because it is one of the most popular rackets among professional players - preferred in doubles by variable front field players.
