String-Test 2022
KIZUNA D66 Lusty Duratech - 0,66 mm in the Test
What is immediately noticeable about the KIZUNA D66 Lusty Duratech is that the string is based on the KIZUNA D61 Duratech in terms of appearance and material processing. The KIZUNA D66 Lusty Duratech is also a twisted string made of two components, in which Teflon has been used. Unique in the material processing is the newly used super heat-resistant plastic polyphenylene sulphide (PPS) with special polymer-nylon composite fibre. This is intended to make the classic line of attack stronger and of higher quality, especially when smashing.
The character of the string was evaluated according to 8 criteria on a scale from 1 (does not apply) to 5 (fully applies). The highest rating is therefore a 5. Let's start with the hard facts:

Verdict: Our testers clearly see the advantages of the KIZUNA D66 in the impressive feel (touch/feedback) and the strong power in long clears. In both disciplines, the D66 received an impressive 4.2 points. But the real strength lies in the rich, controlled power transfer on hard smashes, which the string literally demands. In this respect, the D66 rightly achieved the highest score of 4.8 points in the test. The D66 is also far above average in all other criteria and thus achieves a special standard in the KIZUNA string series. From our point of view, the KIZUNA D66 fills the gap between the KIZUNA Z65 and KIZUNA Z69 which we have already tested for you in our big KIZUNA string test.
BADLAB recommend this top string to offensive tournament allround players who want to improve their passion for smash.
The KIZUNA D66 Duratech is currently available in yellow and white.
