YONEX SKYARC Test
The SKYARC is the newest string in the YONEX string family and, with a diameter of 0.69mm, is one of the stronger strings. Since it was not yet available for our large YONEX string test in February, we have now tested the SKYARC in connection with the two new YONEX ASTROX models 100 ZZ and 100 ZX. In addition, each tester of the BADLAB racket group played the SKYARC on their personal racket for comparison.

Assessment: The new, very elastic material "Hi-Sling-Fiber" does what it says on the tin. Accordingly, the YONEX SKYARC / 0.69 mm shone in all of our testers with a lot of power for long clears, an excellent feel and very good damping properties.
But also with the other criteria - including durability - the YONEX SKYARC scores well with our testers. In our view, YONEX has thus fully met its own objective: to develop a top string for popular sport.
BADLAB therefore fully recommends the new YONEX SKYARC for beginners and advanced players. Regarding the string hardness, we recommend 9.5 kg to a maximum of 11 kg.
Speaking of stringing hardness: At the end of August 2020, the free stringster app will be updated in the app stores. This allows you to analyze the hardness and condition of your string based on its sound.
And another tip for all coaches: If you pass balls for hours every day, you should also test the YONEX SKYARC!
